NMR SPECTROSCOPIST:

We are currently seeking an NMR Spectroscopist to join our Analytical Support Group. Working primarily on small molecules, you will be required to organise, perform and report on a broad range of analytical studies in support of our internal Chemistry Functions and Contract Analytical Projects. The position requires experience in small molecule NMR including structure determination, working knowledge of organic chemistry, and good communication skills. Experience of working with Bruker NMR spectrometers (including maintenance and upkeep) would be advantageous plus working in either a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Ph.D. or graduate in chemistry or related field with a demonstrable interest in NMR spectroscopy (minimum 1 to 5 years industry experience).  NMR interpretation experience would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided.

A key team player and proactive individual with the ability to successfully deliver results within tight deadlines and a keen attention to detail, you will possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-focused approach.  The ability to co-ordinate within interdisciplinary teams is important.  In return, Eurofins Selcia offers an excellent comprehensive total reward package.
