Selcia and UCL publish paper in Open Biology from Wellcome Trust funded SDDI project

Bifunctional Crosslinking Ligands for Transthyretin, Open Biology, September 2015.

Ongar, UK, september 24th 2015. Selcia scientists are named authors on a publication in Open Biology entitled ‘Bifunctional cross-linking ligands for Transthyretin’, which resulted from a Wellcome Trust SDDi funded collaboration led by Sir Mark Pepys’s team at the Centre for Amyloidosis and Acute Phase Proteins at UCL. Selcia scientists designed and synthesised small molecule ligands that stably linked human transthyretin complexes in vitro and in vivo, as part of a multi-centre collaborative project that included scientists from UCL, Oxford University, Peptide Protein Research and Cambridge Medchem Consulting.
